Colleagues,
In the midst of this world-wide pandemic, economic upheaval, and random violence and social discord, may we also take a moment to contemplate our collective history and our current struggles. HASA is committed to promoting the general welfare of public school students and personnel. We are committed to supporting the social and emotional health of our children and families touched by the COVID-19 pandemic and by the trauma of recent violent events. We condemn the racist acts perpetuated by inequitable systems and individuals that perpetuate harm in our communities. We stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown brothers and sisters, committed to doing everything possible to create a just, peaceful, and equitable future. As we move forward may we always remember that we are more powerful when we stand together, united by our humanity. United in hope for our future.
